An independent pharmacy built for the way seniors actually live.
Caring for South Florida since 2011.
Built here, for the people who live here
Ascend Rx has provided comprehensive pharmacy care for seniors in South Florida for more than fifteen years. We are an independent pharmacy focused on the patients who take the most medications, see the most physicians, and have the hardest time getting to a pharmacy counter, across Medicare, Medicaid, and dual-eligible Medicare Advantage.
That focus shapes everything about how we operate. We deliver rather than dispense across a counter. We refill automatically rather than waiting to be asked. We package medications so they are simple to take. We answer the phone in English and Spanish. And we work as closely with the physician groups, facilities, and health plans caring for our patients as we do with the patients themselves.
A closed-door pharmacy in Doral
Every prescription we fill is going somewhere specific — a house, an apartment, a resident’s room. The pharmacy is built backwards from that.
Our pharmacy in Doral is purpose-built for high-volume dispensing and closed to the public, which lets us organize the entire operation around accuracy, privacy, and getting medications out the door quickly.
- Verification at every step of the fill process, with a licensed pharmacist reviewing each order.
- Cold-chain handling for temperature-sensitive medications.
- A HIPAA-secure environment designed around patient privacy.
- Our own delivery team covering all three South Florida counties.
- Licensed in the State of Florida.
- Bilingual staff across the pharmacy and patient support teams.
